I guess it has been awhile since I have posted anything. I have been mostly working on Valentines for my kiddos; however, I have so many projects going on right now that I feel very good about having finished my son's Valentines today. Now I just have to make 12 for my daughter, and 20 or so for my office... A crafter's work is never done. It's your fault Kristin!
Here is a picture of the Valentine treat bags I did for my son. I think I got the .cut file from Capadia. Most everything comes from her, she is amazing. My husband thinks they are kinda "girly", but I say that Valentine's Day is a "girly" holiday, so WHAT THE HELL??
Later this afternoon I dug through all my old stuff for a wedding invite I did a few months ago, because a co-worker of mine is getting married and wants me to do her invites. Ironically enough, she picked the same style as one I had already done. Since I took a picture of it to email to her, I thought i would post it here. It is the first job I actually made some money off of, so it was very exciting for me. Here it is...
Hopefully, I will continue to get jobs like this. I have another one coming up for October, and interestingly enough, it is black and white also. Although, it is a different style :)
An update from my last post... My grandfather passed away on 1-7-09. The funeral was nice, and thankfully all of my family from up North was able to come down. I miss the man terribly already, and can't imagine ever stopping. He is a huge part of my childhood memories, and will always have a special place in my heart. He always made me feel like someone was proud of me, and he championed everything I ever did. I'll miss you the most Papa...
